Milestones at a Glance

  • 2023

    The new Konzelmann "Sealings" business unit is launched.
    Introduction of TPU material development and production in the company's own technical center with validation in the own laboratory. First material for hydrogen applications, purkon®2000, is produced and first prototypes are supplied to customers.

  • 2022

    A further extension of 5,300sqm takes place. The extension of the production area from now on allows a clean room production with regard to the current high class standards. Also, the current warehouse is enlarged and the office space is expanded.

    INNOVATION
    Safety parts for Li-Ion batteries and immersion-cooled batteries:
    We call it the KKI Berstring®. The innovative Berstring® safety valve has been tested many times and can be adapted to individual conditions.

    INNOVATION
    The NEW hydrodynamic 3D-Plain Bearing combines the properties of a radial and axial plain bearing. Therefore, the forces are absorbed in both directions.
    Thus, two individual plain bearings merge into one component and your whole system is simplified.

  • 2020

    Konzelmann GmbH introduces a new manufacturing technology. With In-Mould-Decoration (IMD), a 3K-Technology, it is now possible to produce optical and functional components in one manufacturing process.

    We get the first series orders for battery applications in eMobility

  • 2018

    Start of the introduction of a new ERP system.

  • 2017

    Konzelmann Gmbh takes off and expands its expertise with the entry into e-mobility by a further large area...

  • 2016

    Entry into another major project for a medical device with a total of 95 injection molds.

  • 2015

    Establishment of the USA subsidiary Konzelmann US Inc.

  • 2014

    Already in 2014, another new building is built for fully air-conditioned mold/toolmaking.
    This expansion ensures reliable production of high-precision tools  without temperature fluctuations during steel processing.
    The training workshop is also set up, ensuring in-house support of the apprentices from the very beginning.

  • 2013

    First certification according to ISO/TS 16949 is conducted and successfully completed.

  • 2012

    This is followed by the extension of the injection molding shop and laboratories. Special measuring technologies  as well as laboratory and testing facilities guarantee transparent  and reliable production and manufacturing processes for the customer.

  • 2011

    The 50-year company anniversary of the family business, now already in the third generation, is celebrated with all employees.

  • 2009

    In 2009 Bodo Konzelmann hands the company over to his son Milko Konzelmann as sole managing partner of Konzelmann GmbH. The generational transition is successfully completed.

  • 2009

    Also in 2009, the long-standing authorized representative Frank Greminger is appointed second managing director at the side of Milko Konzelmann.

  • 2008

    Certification in environmental auditing according to EMAS ISO 14001 is successfully conducted and completed. "The combination of ecology and economy is the focus of our efforts to protect and preserve the environment."

  • 2004

    A large-scale project for a medical device, with a total of 120 injection molds – a first-time for Konzelmann – is developed in close cooperation with the customer, produced in series and completed by in-house post-processing.

  • 2002

    In February, a complete change of location led to the purchase of a new company building in Löchgau and the associated expansion of floor space to 4,400 m².

  • 1998

    For the first time, tribological series applications are implemented in gearbox construction.

  • 1996

    In 1996, the company obtains its first QM certification according to DIN ISO 9001  

  • 1990

    On the July 1st, 1990, Milko Konzelmann joins the company in its second generation.

  • 1989

    This year, Konzelmann expands to 2000 square meters. State-of-the-art toolmaking and injection molding enable manufacturing from a single source.

  • 1988

    Introduction of an MDE/BDE computer system for injection molding machines.

  • 1974

    In 1974 the new building was built on existing premises with a production hall covering an area of 850 m².

  • 1961

    In April 1961, Bodo Konzelmann started his company in the garage of his mother-in-law.
